Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day. We took Celia on her first camping trip! We went to Cedar Hill State Park in Grand Prairie. Celia did great, although she had a little trouble figuring out that she was supposed to go to sleep since she wasn't in a crib.  We had fun sitting by the fire, looking at the water, roasting marshmallows and walking around.

Finally!

Dad took Celia to WalMart so I'm FINALLY getting around to posting some pictures. Here are some pics from the past two months. Celia is almost 10 months now! She's getting so big. She loves to crawl, stand-up, cruise, laugh, clap and wave bye-bye. She has four teeth and two more on the top coming in. At her 9-month appointment she was 17 pounds and 29 inches long. She loves all food so far except cottage cheese (which I don't blame her because mommy doesn't like it either). At school she regularly takes food off other babies trays - the teachers can't believe she's so skinny because she eats so much.

I was out of town at the beginning of the month for business and John decided to take Celia for a swim in the pool. She loved it! Here are some pics from her second dip after I got home.

Sometimes at school they put the babies hair in ponytails or braids.  Celia doesn't have much hair so they put it in tiny little ponytails that looked like a mohawk.  It was funny.
