123. Won't you count with me?

I had no idea that Celia could count this high until she started belting it out last night.  She started a new class this week and she's already learning so much. I have another video on my other camera, but I can't get it off because it's a weird format!  Before I got out the camera, she got to 11.  I couldn't believe it!  I love the "gosh" in the second video.  Listen for it.  It's so cute.

How does a train sound? Choo Choo!

A few weeks ago we took a train ride.  The ride is about 1 hour and runs from Grapevine to the Fort Worth Stockyards.  Celia loved the train and was a master by the end at saying "Choo Choo"!

First Haircut

Two weeks ago we got our first haircut. It really wasn't a haircut, just a trim. She wasn't too keen on Jessica (the girl who cuts my hair) touching her hair and hovering over her.  We survived and Celia did great.  We celebrated with a snack at Chick-fil-a.

Flower Power

Celia and I went to the Botanical Gardens a few weeks ago with my little sister, Jensine.  It was a really beautiful place to take pictures.  Unfortunately, Celia didn't want to sit still and look at the camera. Oh well, I still managed to capture a few and we had a great time and then met Daddy after for burgers.

Feeding the Ducks

Back in April when the weather was turning nice, we took Celia to the park to feed the ducks. She loves them and likes to chase them around giving them "lala" or bread.  The thing that was the cutest was when John squatted down next to the water, Celia did exactly the same.  Like daddy, like daughter.

Day at the Museum

Dallas has a great children's museum.  A couple of months ago (I can't believe it's been 2 months - I am really behind on my posts) we took Celia to Dallas to the museum.  She loved this dinosaur in the first picture.  She could have sat in front of him all day.  John and I finally got her to move on into other things including slides, driving a bus, playing in the sand, grocery shopping, tricycle/tractor rides and big bubbles.  We had lot of fun and topped it off with our first snowcone - blue coconut!
How funny is this picture.  "My hand is so much smaller than this hand..."

 Daddy and Celia after dinner.
The next day at the Farmer's Market.  This was also a great place to take a kid.  Lots of free samples!  And lots of colors and food to talk about.

A Stockyards Saturday

We spent yesterday afternoon in the Stockyards.  We had a great time.  We went to Riscky's BBQ and just walked around.  There was this little petting zoo set-up and Celia got to feed the goats.  She loved the "animals" and was so sad when we had to leave them.
