Little Fishes!

In January we started swim lessons for Celia.  It has been amazing!  Before swim lessons she wouldn't even get her face wet.  Now she loves going underwater and can swim for 8-10 seconds!  She's doing great and has so much fun.  We go every Saturday and she looks forward to it all week.

Life is a walk in the park

A few weeks ago, we went to a park in Ft. Worth.  We rode the train and walked around the Trinity River.  We had a great time and my "Little Sis" Jensine went with us.

Riding My Bike

Our super nice neighbor gave Celia a big girl bike!  It's really cute and just her size.  .  We also went on a fun adventure to Academy to buy our helmet.  Celia changed her mind a few times, but we finally decided on Barbie. This was her first day riding her bike.

Under Water World

On our cruise in January, John and I went scuba diving in Cozumel.  If you're a diver or a snorkeler and have tried to take underwater pictures, you know how bad the quality of photos can be.  On our dive, our divemaster had a digital underwater camera in a special case designed for deeper depths.  It's amazing quality so I thought I would share some pics.  It was a great dive!  We saw a stingray, angel fish, seahorse, eel, lobster, coral and even some statues.

Cruisin!

In January (yes January), Celia went on her second cruise!  We had a blast.

Celia loves the beach.  She loves the water, but even more than that, she loves sitting and playing in the sand.

Having a good time on formal night!

Watching a movie on the pool deck on the outdoor movie screen

$20 beach massages!  Even Daddy & Gramps got one.

Great pic of Daddy & Gramps. Hanging out in Mexico before heading back to the boat.

Carnival Triumph

In Cozumel.  Celia liked climbing the tree. She thinks she's part monkey.

When I Grow Up...

No more crib!  Celia is a big girl and she now has a big girl bed to prove it.  She loves it.  John and I like it too, although we're a bit sad about our little baby growing up.  What she loves most about it is jumping!  Here's a video of Celia jumping on the bed telling us some of her favorite things, what she wants to be when she grows up is so funny.

We wish you a Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas this year.  We spent time at all the grandparents house, ate a lot of food and picked up a toy store's inventory of toys.

Opening presents.  Celia wasn't really into Santa this year, but she loved presents.  This was a guitar.

The Loyd girls.  Me, Celia, Cathy, Rachel & Jennifer

Got a trampoline from Grandpa & Mimi.  Couldn't get her off of it.

Grammy & Gramps brought Rachel & Mason down for some after Christmas fun.  For Christmas John gave Rachel a map of the United States and challenged her to learn all the states on the map.  Rachel named all 50 states and John had to pay her $50 ($1 for each state)!
