Our Little Ham

So I've always had trouble getting pictures of Celia at the right moment when she's smiling.  She always looks aways when she sees the camera come up.  And the flash on these little point and shoot cameras takes FOREVER to go off and take the picture.  I really need a nicer camera that I can control better.  But I've also realized that now Celia is getting older she likes to ham it up a little more.  When you say "Say cheese" she will.  And she starts to giggle.  So the other day when we were having snack I got a few cute pictures of her.

Super Bowl Fever

This week the Super Bowl is coming to DFW.  This weekend (while the weather was still nice) we headed to Fort Worth to check out Sundance Square as ESPN was setting up and the Omni Hotel where the Steelers are staying.  It's too bad that the ice has hit because it looked like there was going to be a lot of fun and activity.

Daddy Daughter Day

Daddy took Celia to the Dallas Children's Museum a few weeks ago.  Apparently they had a blast.  And apparently Celia loved this dinosaur and sat talking to him for some time and could have talked to him for pretty much all day if John would have let her.  She's a talker these days.  She talks to herself and if you talk to her, she'll say most anything back to you (one word at a time).

I've got raspberries growing from my fingers!

More Cuteness from the Holidays

We had a holly jolly Christmas

So we had a great Christmas. Celia still didn't know what was going on, but she loved all the activity and seeing everyone. We tried to get her to open presents, but she really had no interest. She liked the toys once they were open, but the excitement of opening the presents was lost on her this year (next year will be crazy, I know).

At our house before we leave for the grandparents.  Celia opens her first present (or John opens it):

She's very excited when she sees Elmo inside:
Hanging out with her cousins and Aunt & Uncle
 She was loving Chuck

 Silly Rachel and Mason
The only picture we took of the three of us.
Grammy & Gramps.  Celia doesn't look very happy for some reason.  I don't think she was in the picture taking mood.
The great-grandkids at my Granny Williams.  There are usually quite a few more, but these are the ones who made it this year.  Jake, Regan, Danielle, Maria, Thomas, Trent, Kelton, Jackson & Celia
 Aunt Whitney
Shaking the presents at Nana's house
 She loves her "cycle"

Four generations: Aunt Whitney, Nana, Great Grandma, Mama & Celia
 Bumping heads with Donald
 Playing guitar with dad
Cutie with a bow in her hair (she didn't keep it for long)
Watching Devon & Kyle - look at her funny face
