Family Photos

In September we got family photos taken by a photographer in Deep Ellum.  I like to get pictures taken around Celia's birthday so these are her 2-year photos.  A few of them came out really cute and one made the Christmas card this year!  Celia is not much for having her picture taken - when I take out my camera at home she looks the other way - but she did a great job here.  The last photos Celia is wearing a dress of mine that I had when I was 3.  None of these pictures came out that great so I'm going to try to get her picture taken in it again, but I will try to scan and post the picture of me in it sometime.

Two Years!

This year Celia had a swimming party and invited the family.  We were lucky that so many of her cousins were able to come.  Grandpa and Mimi have this great pool near their house so we went to Cameron for our party.  Celia had a blast and got so many toys!  Dad even got her a big bottle of ketchup - her favorite!  I didn't take many pictures since I was also swimming and having fun with Celia, but here are a few.

Fort Lauderdale

In September we got to go to Fort Lauderdale.  We had the best time - Celia loves the beach!  And Grammy & Gramps came too.  The last picture is of Celia enjoying a bowl of chocolate ice cream entirely too much!

San Diego

In June we went to San Diego!  We had a great time and it was a nice break from the sweltering heat in Texas.  We went to the zoo, Coronado Beach, La Jolla, USS Midway and a Duck Boat tour of the city.  Our hotel was near the Gaslamp Quarter, so we spend our evenings in this area.

Mom & Dad had a little "staycation" outside of the metroplex.  We found this fun waterpad.  And Daddy and Celia danced after dinner.

123. Won't you count with me?

I had no idea that Celia could count this high until she started belting it out last night.  She started a new class this week and she's already learning so much. I have another video on my other camera, but I can't get it off because it's a weird format!  Before I got out the camera, she got to 11.  I couldn't believe it!  I love the "gosh" in the second video.  Listen for it.  It's so cute.
